Health and Safety Council
The council is a collaborative body comprising elected representatives and representatives from the municipality, County Council, Church, Job Seekers’ Office, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency and the Police. The tasks are to promote health and safety; coordinate work between the council members; and follow-up implemented actions and reports. The council is also responsible for drawing up action plans for injury prevention, drug and crime prevention work and equality issues. Our work shall characterised by a residents’ perspective.
The issues we prioritise in different committees are: children and young people, the elderly, community safety and healthy workplaces.
The Swedish National Council for Crime Prevention
In the Municipality of Söderköping, the group representing the Swedish National Council for Crime Prevention comprises of representatives from the Swedish Union of Tenants, the Church, business-owners, politicians, the Chief Security Officer, Social Services, the Police and Janne ‘Löken’.
