Public transport
In Östergötland the company ‘AB Östgötatrafiken’ is commissioned by municipalities and county councils to provide public transport to the region, with responsibilities similar to Passenger Transport Executives in the UK.
Alboga express
Together with local property owners, the municipality runs a local bus route between Söderköping town centre to the Alboga and Skönberga residential areas. The Alboga Express runs every day and is free of charge.
Community transport service
For those who have mobility issues meaning they cannot use the public transport system, we have a community transport service. Community transport involves taxi, bus or a combination of the two.
Travel centre
The Söderköping Travel Centre is centrally located next to the Stinsen building where you can find waiting rooms, a café and toilets. The Travel Centre is a hub for public transport, buses, community transport, taxis and also a car park. At the Information Office you can buy Östgötatrafiken’s travel cards.
