Söderköping is perfectly suited to families with children. Everything is easy to reach and there is a lot to do together. It is only a short to drive by car to St. Anna Archipelago where bathing, boat tours and other adventures await..
Quiz walks which include a king's throne and prizes
Learn about the city in a fun way together with our two quiz walks "Easy to find, easy to guess" and "Guess about the Middle Ages". Our king's throne in Kyrkparken (the church park) is usually very popular to try out during the walk. Submit the answers at the Tourist Office and the children will receive a small present.
Feasts and theatres
Your visit may coincide with one of the city's large events? During the Söderköping Feast in September, there will be extra fun arranged for the children!
Swimming, ice-cream and running
If the children are extra energetic we recommend Kottebanan at Alboga or a hike up to the top of Ramunderberget (Ramunder Mountain) to the small watchtower with its fantastic view of Söderköping. You can then cool down with an ice-cream at the Canal Harbour at one of many ice-cream shops. There is also a nice swimming pool in Söderköping if you don't want to take a trip out to the archipelago for a salt water dip from a cliff or beach.
Tuffe-train
Starts at the Canal Harbour and chugs on it's sightseeing tour through the city while you listen about the history of the city.
